In addition to health insurance, dental insurance and vision insurance group plans are also available.

Medicare Advantage for Senior Workers

SecurityBlue

SecurityBlue is a Medicare Advantage Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) operated by Highmark. It covers preventive care, doctor visits, hospital stays, surgery, and most plans cover prescription drugs. Plus, you get added benefits like vision and hearing care. SecurityBlue provides covered care from its large network of providers in 17 counties of Western Pennsylvania. SecurityBlue offers Basic, Standard, and Deluxe plans. Employees must have Medicare parts A & B to qualify for enrollment in SecurityBlue.

FreedomBlue

FreedomBlue PPO is a Medicare Advantage Preferred-Provider Organization (PPO) operated by Highmark. FreedomBlue PPO allows the employee to choose where care is received, in the network of 62 Pennsylvania counties and throughout all counties in West Virginia, or out of the network. FreedomBlue offers Select, Classic and Platinum plans. You must have Medicare Parts A & B to qualify for enrollment in FreedomBlue.

Health America and UPMC

Advantra and UPMC for Life are Medicare Advantage Plans offered by Health America and UPMC. These plans are similar to Highmark's Security Blue and Freedom Blue.
